Martine attended the Faraday Institution Conference 2024, held from 10–12 September at Newcastle University, UK, where she presented her poster titled, “Recycling of Halide-Based Solid-State Batteries: Understanding the Interactions of Oxides in Aqueous Salt Solutions.” The conference brought together an impressive array of academics, industry leaders, policymakers, and funders from the UK and beyond, all united in their dedication to advancing energy storage technologies. With the theme, “The Battery Breakthrough: From Research, to Scale-up, to Manufacturing,” Martine had the opportunity to explore the latest breakthroughs in battery research, engage in vibrant discussions, and connect with the energy storage community through networking and exhibition events.
